This year's Tea was organized by Brenda Renfrow, owner of Galt Frostie, a
showcase for historical photos of early Galt and the pioneers. Her
numerous volunteers performed as a well trained organization. The weather
was perfect and the grounds were beautiful.

A beautiful day, good food, wonderful people and nicely kept
lawns made for a very nice time.

These registration workers (l. to r.) Robin Reuthinger and
Sonia Reyes are helping hand out tickets and sell raffle tickets.

More than a dozen crafters showed up to support the Galt Area
Historical Society's craft fair.

Cathy Patterson, Christina and Mary Patterson represent Avon
with some fine products. Reach her at 209-323-0900

Al Baldwin was more interested in talking than posing for a
photo. Al is one of Galt's most fervent supporters.

Old fashioned quilts adorn this table. Doris Williams
(209-745-2186) offers these items that are great for gifts, or your own home.
One quilt is being raffled off to raise funds to send a grand daughter to the
Triple Crown World Series in Utah.

These two were not content to just sit around and smile (of
which they did plenty) but were also knitting the entire day. Left, Salena
Partida (916-256-8384) and right Tyais Lobalo (916-683-4326) both produce some
nice clothing.

In the corner of the Rae House Museum was Cookie Lee jewelry
by Jill (8) and her mother Janice McAuliffe. Call 916-689-4585 for your
orders.

Singers Company Children's Show Choir entertained with many
songs and dances. Wendy Spencer (209-744-9878) leads these girls K-6th to
perform. Talk about cute and precious.

The attendees are watching the youngsters of Singer's Company
Children's Show Choir.

The raffle prizes were overflowing the table and it is all due
to the generosity of Galt shops and residents. See the donor list below
and support these fine community merchants.

Vicky La Porte (Honeypot Baskets & Gifts) shows her offering.

Mary Kay was unable to attend the 2006 Mother Daughter Tea so
she sent Holly Raker in her place. We are the lucky ones. She can be
reached at 209-745-2467.

Watch out for the tall one on the left. She is Tanya
Bennett and can sell just about anything. It is rumored that the national
"truth in advertising" law requires her to wear that "Coconut Addict" T shirt.
I am sure that there is more to the story. Call her at your own risk at
916-947-4479. In the middle is Alicia Garcia-Green (916-477-9271) and
Catreena Lusk (916-224-1946) also of The Body Shop products.

These fresh water pearl earrings are being offered by Star.

Keil of Keylee's Smelly Goods. 209-688-5893 Keil is a
great supporter of Galt community events.

Maureen Wharton (Dipper Designs) is showing her beautiful hand
made greeting cards. 209-745-9686

Shelly Galt is showing only part of her large inventory of
Salt City Candle Company products. 209-748-5867

This is just a few of the many pieces of intricate hand
crafted art work. Call Neiders Metal Art at 209-748-2591.

Rich Hult and Ernie Giuespone provided live music.
Thanks

(l. to r.) Alicia Villano, Samantha Hanchey, Andrea Hanchey, Rebecca Coker and
Lauren Reuthinger were very hard working servers. They took care of so
many things and hardly had time to pose for this picture. They all play
softball and are going to the
Triple Crown Girls
World Series in Utah. Events like this could not happen without such
dedicated hard workers.

We had magicians. This is Leeman Parker just after he tricked Aderian
Hutson. The magic club of Elk Grove was well represented with three
members fooling any victim available.
Donations
This kind of event could not take place without the support of
local merchants. As usual, the businesses in Galt were generous in
providing products and gift certificates as raffle prizes. Please look at
the list and consider doing business with them. If you already shop there,
please thank them for their support of our Society. Being thanked by your
shopping with them and knowing that they are appreciated will help assure their
continued donations.
This list will grow as we collect the info
